Brief Report of the activity	The birth anniversary of Smt. Savitribai Phule, the pioneer of women’s education and a renowned social reformer, was observed with reverence and enthusiasm in our college on 03 January 2026. The programme was attended by the Principal of the college, Dr. N. Shashikala, along with faculty members and students. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Smt. Savitribai Phule as a mark of respect for her invaluable contribution to society, particularly in the field of women’s education and social equality. Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the life and services of Savitribai Phule. They emphasized that she drew great inspiration from her husband, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, whose encouragement and cooperation played a significant role in her journey as an educator and reformer. A total of 220 students and 25 staff members participated enthusiastically. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness about HIV/AIDS — its modes of transmission, the importance of preventive measures, and the need to remove fear, stigma, and discrimination from society. Dr. Shashikala addressed the gathering and sensitized the students about the realities of AIDS, clearly explaining how it spreads and, more importantly, how it does not spread. Brief Report of the activity	All the II BZC students along with lecturers went to Mahanandi Reserve forest area studied vegetation cover, flora and specimens collected for herbarium. The forest area comes under buffer zone of Gundla Bramheswaram wild life santuary covers with abundant vegetation. The students were well exposed to the vegetation and collected important plant specimens like medicinal plants, wild ornamental plants. And enroute visited nurseries raised at Environmental Education Center located in the forest complex.
