Department of Computer Science

The department of computer science was established in 2003 with the introduction of the MPCs group under the B.Sc program. Keeping in view of the increasing demands from the student side and the fact that computer courses are becoming more popular, the college has introduced another group of MECs under the B.Sc program.
The courses we taught are:
- Problem Solving using C
- Data Strucutures using C
- OOP Concepts using Java
- Database Management Systems
- Operating Systems
- Web Development Using PHP & MySql
From this academic year on, the college is offering a single major program in computer science as part of NEP2020. Under these program, the department of computer science will offer market-oriented courses like Python, R-Programming, and data science using Python.
